Bal Harbour, sometimes referred to as “the village,” is a tranquil and luxurious enclave at the northern tip of Miami Beach. The City began its development in 1929 and grew to be a fan-favorite of the posh and affluent. In the 1940’s the land was used training soldiers and established a Prisoner of War camp located where the Bal Harbor Shops exist today. Who would have thought? from prisoners of war to PRADA. Bal Harbor offers beautiful pristine beaches, elegant high end homes/ condos, superb shopping, and an island feel with a detachment from congested areas.
